One morning, BeeBee came out of the hive and stopped dead.

“Oh…”

The garden had changed.
The flowers were no longer red, or yellow, or blue.
They were all… gray.

“Where have the colors gone?” asked BeeBee, worried.

Nobody answered.
The flowers looked tired, as if something was missing.

BeeBee flew to the daisy near the hive.

“We’ve lost our colors,” the daisy sighed. “The garden has become too sad.”

BeeBee felt a little knot in her stomach.
”Then I’ll find them.”

She set off across the garden, then beyond the hill.
She searched under leaves, behind stones, near the stream.

Nothing.

Until she heard a faint sobbing.

Beneath an old bush, the colors were hiding.
Red, blue, yellow… all huddled together.

“Why are you here?” asked BeeBee.

“Nobody was laughing anymore,” answered yellow.
”Nobody was singing,” added blue.
”We didn’t feel useful anymore,” whispered red.

BeeBee thought for a moment.
Then she smiled.

She flew high into the sky and began to dance.
She buzzed a cheerful song, told the colors about the fireflies, about Granny Rose, about the secret garden.

The colors lifted their heads.

“Do you think we can come back?” they asked.

“Of course,” BeeBee replied. “The garden needs you.”

The colors flew off with her.

As soon as they touched the flowers, red came back, then blue, then yellow.
The garden lit up as if by magic.

The flowers were smiling again.

BeeBee landed, happy.

She had understood something essential:
colors never truly disappear…
they just wait for someone to bring them a little joy.
